After a little over three years, I did it! I cut my hair OFF! For those of you who know me well, I've been growing my hair since before Charlotte was born. I've trimmed it just a few times a year to keep it healthy. For a long time I was just not ready to chop it off even though it's hot and heavy.
But today, today I chopped it off and donated what I could to
♥ Locks of Love ♥. I've been wanting to do this for a long time and finally made it happen. They need at least 10" of hair and I certainly have more than that.

One thing I learned is that you can't donate hair that has been bleached before and unfortunately, I prefer myself as a blonde. Good thing I always get partial highlights as I was able to donate the bottom half of my hair.
♥ Locks of Love
♥ gives hair pieces to
children under 21 who suffer from long-term, permanent hair loss from any diagnosis. What a great service! And did you know it takes 6-10 ponytails to make one hairpiece? The kids can even swim and shower with their hairpiece on!! My Uncle has also been donating to this cause for a very long time....go Uncle Greg!!
Good bye ponytail...hello fabulous!
