making progress

I have sewed 12 flowers together so far and have put a white center in them all. My fingers are really starting to hurt. This project is just like a puzzle-- very addicting. It's hard to stop! This quilt I'm finishing for my mom is really going to look great, I can already see it. One one of the paper pieces in the heaxon there was a date. 1975. That means she started this six years before I was born. This is definitely vintage.

Friday I will be home without Charlotte and Kevin so I'm going to use that time to baste the first cabin quilt, ie: ragged squares, and hopefully start quilting!! A full night alone, maybe I'll finish....
