Monday morning

Elsa has been off oxygen for over 36 hours! She did get again last night and had no decreased oxygen stats. This morning she weighed 9 lbs 5.2 oz. The doctors are happy with where she's at and have stopped the respiratory treatments. It's possible we can go home this afternoon but they will also let me stay over if I want. I have mixed feelings. I know she'll continue to do awesome today and I really don't want to stay another night. The hospital won't let me take an o2 meter home and I certainly don't want to sleep with one eye open, but she's doing so great! Her lungs sound really good too.
