my fair milwaukee quilt

There's a great new designer in Milwaukee, Alison Beilke, and she has really started to make an imprint in Milwuakee. She designed a really modern line called My Fair Milwuakee and the fabric can be bought on Spoonflower. I love the print with all the various Milwaukee buildings on it. Milwaukee's
Rochambo coffee and tea house is even on there. I spent lots of time there in high school.

The Milwaukee Modern Quilt Guild is putting together a challenge to make something using her fabric. I opted for a crib-sized quilt that will also be a donation piece for the Alzheimer's Assocation of Southeastern Wisconsin for their Mardi Gras Gala in February.

Allison has an Etsy shop here. And you can also order some really sweet iPhone cases here
