WIP Wednesday

I've slowly been working on my MMQG Bee quilt. I have most of the blocks back from all the ladies but decided that the quilt needed to be more than 12 blocks large. Besides the Summer Sampler Series blocks that everybody is making, I've started to piece some of the Solstice Star Series blocks by Fresh Lemon Quilts. Fabric is all Flea Market Fancy and I'm absolutely in love with this quilt!!

I'm just not too sure if I'll really have it completely quilted before baby comes in December. It sure would be sad to wait to snuggle under it until next year...

Star of Mystery
These blocks have taken up most of the free nap time I have. Most of them are paper pieced and I'm getting much better at it.

I've also been knitting a lot more and have successfully made two hats. Still need to work on decreasing my stitches but it's going well. I still have plans to make a red and white striped (think candy cane) hat for this little Christmas bundle.

Linking up with Lee this week.

Your summer sampler is turning out very nice using the FMF. I have been thinking about using some FMF - good to know it looks nice in all of these different blocks!
cheers

Oh the solstice stars are a great addition to your other blocks! I stitched through that series & made a quilt with just 5 blocks (actually 4 solstice stars + another) - very fun. Thanks for linking up to wip Wednesday this week, where I've had the pleasure of guest-hosting!
