Another post to go along with Lee's (Freshly Pieced) Wednesday Work In-Progress projects.
In true Erika style, I realized that you can sew the sashing on the wrong side of the diamond. I sewed a really good portion with the sashing on the wrong angle...bummer. The seam ripper and I had a nice evening together. Now I'm laying the diamonds out and putting the top together. Visually, this was a challenge for me. Sewing the diamonds on point has been hard but this is going to look great when finished. I was inspired by this quilt from The Blue Chair and found helpful tutorials here and here.

All that ripper time has paid off...it's fantastic! The colours are amazing.
Visiting through WIP...beautiful quilt! I've done the diamond thing too, and it's amazing how everything that can go wrong seems to happen when I'm doing this pattern. Yours looks great!
It's adorable! It's going to be lovely with the sashing.
I've made a couple diamond quilts now, and just love how they turned out. Nice work!
Oh that diamond quilt is looking beautiful! It will be treasured forever :-)
P.S. Would you consider disabling your word verification please?
Thanks for all the great comments! I am loving how this is coming together!
That's too bad that you had to do all that seam-ripping, but wow, Erika, it looks great now! That's going to be a really pretty bed quilt. Thanks for linking up to WIP Wednesday. : )
