last quilt of the year

I've finished my last quilt for 2012. With baby only 11 days away, I can't believe I got it finished. Elizabeth Hartman's New Wave pattern has been one of my favorites for quick and easy crib sized quilts. There isn't a lot of fussy cutting involved and it's easy to use 1/4yds of fabric. This is made up of left over fabric from a quilt I made using the fabric line Lanikai by Dear Stella and the purples are from Hobby Lobby. Measures 48x49. This is a donation quilt for Charlotte's school Auction in February. Hopefully they will get a pretty penny for it!

This is straight line quilted following the zig zags. One quilted line on the white and two lines on each side on the patterned fabric. Love it!

Baby Update: I'm two cenimeters dialated which means that nothing is really happening anytime soon. That's a good thing because I don't want baby coming out too soon! Still scheduled to be induced on the 14th of December at 6am. Yippie!

The quilt looks great! I have a few quilts in the binding stage, but I keep saying I'll be taking them to the hospital with me to do the binding. I have 7 days until my due date, no plans to induce yet and I'm at a 2 too. Good luck with your new baby!
